Corrections

NOTE:  Siding and bats are not Miratec but are LP brand.  The project blog in its entirety can be viewed by going to http://www.reedmountain.com/blog/2017/2/3/stevensville-rural-fire-district-etna-fire-station-1.  The following photos are to streamline the review process for warranty of the Miratec trim.

Corrections made were:

1) Removed and replaced all window trim to ensure 1/4" gap around windows.  All end cuts were primed with oil-based primer and 2-1/2 mils of exterior latex paint.  Gaps were caulked and painted.

2) Cut all vertical trim to allow 1/4" gap over flashing.  All end cuts were primed with oil-based primer and 2-1/2 mils of exterior latex paint.

3) Cut vertical and horizontal trim around concrete to allow 1/2" gap.  All cuts were primed with oil-based primer and 2-1/2 mils of exterior latex paint.

All other Miratec trim was installed per manufacturer's instructions and no corrections were necessary.

Installation instructions for Milgard windows stated trim to be installed per instructions from trim manufacturer.
